The following rates and terms are current as of creation of this page. The terms/conditions may change. As such, where the rates and terms on this page differ to those sent to the client as part of the appointment time offer, the ones sent via email along with the appointment offer will be the ones used and the terms/conditions on this page would be invalid.

**Please note** the special requirements that I have in place due to Covid-19. It is meant to keep all of us as safe and informed as possible.

**In my case, I have an at-risk child with an underlying condition that makes them particularly susceptible to Covid-19. Therefore, preventing the spread to my child is of paramount importance.

You may or may not have at-risk people in your household, but I will conduct myself as if you do and I hope that the people on site will conduct themselves the same way towards me in return.

Therefore, while in your home I will wear a high quality mask and stay physically distant from people on site.

It is not required for others to mask, though if they can it is greatly welcomed.

The best thing we can do is have lots of fresh air and ventilation. If you can open windows and turn on kitchen/bathroom fans prior to my arrival that can help alot. 

Before repairing your appliance **I will need you to expressly confirm** the following:

No one in your household or on site knowingly has Covid-19, OR has any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose.

**Should any symptoms develop prior to my arrival please have them let me know prior to my arrival.


I schedule my appointments to last around one and half hours.

Please only book with me when you are done searching and ready to commit.

To accept the time offered, send a reply to this email. **Please note** the appointment is not scheduled until I send a reply confirming our appointment, so if you do not hear back please follow up with me again.

 **By committing to a time you agree to give a minimum 48hrs notice if for some reason you need to cancel or reschedule. If a minimum of 48 hours notice is not given then a service charge is payable.

**By committing to a time you agree to all the rates and terms listed in this message and in previous correspondences sent from Cambie Appliance in regards to the repair in discussion.

Please read the info below—it will make the visit as smooth and efficient as possible for the both of us.


1) The one time service charge is $90. $45 for every additional appliance. Labour is $30 per 15 minutes (most of my invoices average a half hour, covering a variety of machines and issues, but not in every case).

2) Payment must be made immediately upon completion, on site. Cheque is preferred. **If paying by Visa or Mastercard, please let me know in your reply to this message.**


1) If you do not intend to be there yourself at the time of repair/completion, please let me know now. If you nominate someone else to be there I will assume they are responsible for decision making unless told otherwise. If you have a budget/limit in mind please let me know at the time of booking.

2) Please note I need to be able to park nearby in order to carry my tools etc in/out of the house.

3) Please mention any parking restrictions that may be nearby. Please note the times the regulations are in effect to make sure they are not in conflict with our appointment time.


1) Please mention any other appliances to be looked at prior to booking a time. Only the appliances mentioned prior to booking can be looked at.

2) Please notify me of any recent work or attempted repairs, done by anyone, on the machine(s) in question. Failure to notify of any such conditions could void any/all warranties.

3) Cambie Appliance and its employees are not responsible to you for any loss or damage resulting from any appliance service, repair, installation or delivery, whether due to the negligence of Cambie Appliance or its employees or otherwise. You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Cambie Appliance and its employees from any and all liability for any property damage, loss or personal injury to any third party resulting from the services provided by Cambie Appliance.


If you indicate in your reply, I can put you on my list to call on short notice if I have unforeseen time openings. Please be aware that this would likely be very short notice so you would have to be home or near to home most of the time. For best results, be sure the phone numbers you provide will allow me to contact you anytime.
